Admission Procedure
Admission Procedure of Madhyamik (Secondary) Level
Admission for Madhyamik( Secondary) level under the West Bengal Council of Rabindra Open Schooling are held twice a year either . Maximum 250 learners will be admitted in a session at our every study centre. The notification for admission of Madhyamik(Secondary) level is given our official website as well as leading regional newspaper(s) by the Council twice in a year . Learner can take admission from recognized Study Centre under the West Bengal Council of Rabindra Open Schooling which has been listed our website. A learner shall be entitled to complete such course of study within five years from his/her first registration. Minimum age of admission in the Madhyamik (Secondary) level is 14 years. There is no upper age limit.
- There are two types of admission in Madhyamik (Secondary) level –
- General
- Credit Transfer
- A learner can be admitted and registered through online mode by our recognized study centre in Madhyamik(Secondary) level course under the West Bengal Council of Rabindra Open Schooling either in June or December in each year on producing a pass certificate of class VIII standard from any recognized Govt. /Govt. Aided / Govt. Sponsored /Govt. affiliated private /Non- Govt. Private school.
- A learner who appeared in the Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Examination) conducted by recognised Government Board/Council/Open School but has not passed in a subject/subjects, shall be entitled for the benefit of credit transfer in which they (any recognised Government Board/Council/Open School) declared passed/qualified and where passed/qualified marks should be declared at least 25 or above out of 100 in that/those subject/subjects according to the rule/guideline/regulation of the recognised respective Board/Council/Open School, and may be permitted of a maximum four subjects for credit transfer in which a candidate obtained pass/qualifying marks. A candidate who appeared at the Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Examination) of the West Bengal Council of Rabindra Open Schooling may be permitted of a maximum four subjects for credit transfer, in which a candidate obtained pass/qualifying marks. The facility of credit transfer shall not be allowed after a period of five years from the year of publication of result in respective examination from which a student appeared in Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Examination) under any Govt recognized Board/council/Open Schooling/the West Bengal Council of Rabindra Open Schooling. If a learner is required to get his /her credit transfer then the data verified copy (Transcript of Academic record) from the concerned Board & should be submitted along with the Original Unsuccessful Marksheet at the time of spot verification.
- Study centre must be scanned & uploaded all original documents at the time of online
admission.
- Original TC/School Leaving Certificate/Admit Card/Registration Certificate must be produced by the Study Centre at the time of spot verification for date of birth & qualification verification of all candidates.
- After completion of the online process, all Study Centre must be Submitted Printed filled up Application Form of Admission of all learners with relevant documents at the time of Spot Verification.
- The specific date & time of Spot Verification of the Study Centre is informed to all Study Centres through email by this Council.
- If any information of the learner is incorrect or false the West Bengal Council of Rabindra Open Schooling has full power to reject the Admission Application Form and the fees paid by the Candidate forfeited by this Council.
